Journalism built for the moment
At 11Alive in Atlanta, I produce the 7-9 a.m. streaming edition of 11Alive Morning News, leading the editorial plan for two hours of live coverage.
That means building the rundown, writing and updating copy, timing the show to the second, incorporating breaking news, developing interviews and live elements, and working continuously with talent, directors and the newsroom. The goal is a stream with its own pace, look and editorial identity -- not simply an extension of the television newscast that comes before it.
